<p>This decaf comes from the small, high-altitude farms of East Timor, where most growers tend to less than a hectare of land. These farmers are part of Cooperativa Café Timor (CCT), a Fair Trade certified cooperative formed in 1994 with support from the USDA. Grown in the mountainous regions of Maubesse, Atsabe, Lequisa, and Aifu, this coffee carries a rich history—the original trees were planted over 400 years ago by Portuguese colonists.
