Its balance makes it a reliable daily companion, yet it carries enough depth to invite a slower, more deliberate sip.

Tasting Notes

Chocolate at its core, wrapped in the warmth of maple syrup and finished with a rounded nuttiness — a cup that feels both comforting and composed.

Origin & Producer

This lot comes from the remote village of Tres Pinos, Honduras, nearly 2.5 hours outside Comayagua. The farm, Finca Santa Lucia, is tended by Raul Rodriguez, a third-generation producer who lives there with his wife and three dogs. His father, Don Ermenegildo, was a pioneer who first introduced varietals like Yellow Bourbon, Typica, and Caturra to the region.

A Story Beyond the Cup

During harvest, Raul employs 75 pickers and supports 15 families who live on the farm year-round. Known for paying the highest wages in the area, he also commits a portion of his profits to restoring a nearby school in need of a kitchen and electricity. With every cup, this coffee carries both heritage and hope.
